Mountain Heather

Inspired by heather growing on Catbells near Keswick 

Indian glass cubes set between silvered seed beads.  This design is based on the colours and textures of the Cumbrian mountains in the summer with the purple of the heather growing on Catbells, the the transparent cubes invoking the feeling of of the clear clarity of the mountain air and the glinting silver of the mountain streams.
